Summer Kick-Off Bash 2011 Abilene, TX Ok, this thread is for the official info on the Summer Kick-off Bash 2011 here in Abilene, TX. A local street car club we have out here is putting this together as a charity event.

As of right now the major info we have is this:
Date:
June 25 and maybe 26
Location:
Right now we working this issue. I will definitely have more info on this later this week. Hopefully using either the Firestone or maybe Arrow Ford Dealership parking lot. Link, Arrow Ford is just to the East of Firestone.
Charity:
David Royall is the little boy that we are doing this event for. He is 8yrs old and has a very rare disease called Aicardi Syndrome. He is the only Boy in the world to have this.....all others are Females. The lead guy who is putting this together has sat down with his mother today to get a lot of info. This is her Facebook....she said everyone is welcomed since it tells a lot about David.
On behave of David we are taking all processed and giving them to a group called:
Foundation Link
I do have a great feeling about this. The lead guy has made contact with a lot of great people who would love to help with this. Please if you have any info that is helpful then post it. Any info is welcomed and tell people, post up anything. Within the next few weeks he will be in contact with the Abilene local radio stations and TV stations. This will allow for greater turn-out from the locals. Also i was told we could use the Arrow Ford Conference room to get the major details talked about in private.
ARF is mainly a Mustang/Tuner Car club. I believe there is only 2 or 3 LSx platforms that show regulary for meets. So, the more LS force there, the better IMO
.

I know some are far away...but its looking like we will have a decent showing of people around the Abilene Area (San Angelo, Midland/Odessa, Lubbock/Amarillo, etc.). I am just trying to get as many cars to show up, since it is for a good cause.
