Im looking for a 98-02 camaro parts car. I don't care if its wrecked, striped or not. Must have a good roof and a clean title.

Let me know what you have.

Why would he need a clean title just to swap roofs?

Most likley to dispose of the old car, most scrap places wont take a car with out a title. Salvage would work in that case, but you have to have a title of some sort.

Yeah thats why the "clean" part confuses me because as long as it has some form of title a scrap yard will take it and the car could be had for a lot cheaper with a salvage title.

Speedracer. There are write ups here on tech from people that have already done it. John at Texas speed has a thread in the drag race section.

Dave, $400 plus shipping? They were $600-700 when they were making them.

hmmm. Let me kick that around a bit. I would still need the window brace's so a parts car would probably be a better choice for me and cost about the same or less.

I have a hard top parts car for sale. It's posted in the classifieds. It costs $8,500, has a clear title, no body damage, clean roof... It can even be driven to your shop...

It may work just fine now that I think about it. Ill have to check to make sure there are no differences in the door framing and roof skin.
