They love a martyr, so Osama's death could make things worse. Look at TX history and how the Alamo and Goliad became rallying cries.
Al qaeda had to have plans for this eventuallity and he seemed more of a figurehead than an actual leader to me, so I'm not sure the impact is going to be what many expect.

"Boom - Headshot!" seems so fitting, and I'm glad we finally took down the bastard after more than a decade, but the President's speech last night was so self-serving it was sickening. "At my direction", "At my request", "with MY authorization", - like it was he himself who basically pulled the trigger and deserves credit for finding and assassinating him.
