Whatever makes you happy, I'll reserve judgement for about 3 years to see if it actually holds together. I wouldn't pay that much for an unproven car brand but then again it seems even the big name manufacturers are producing less than stellar quality vehicles. You can also get a traverse with all those goodies from Chevy for close to the same price and have better resale value.

Looks great! What kind of warranty do they come with?
I'll admit... last week my brother-in-law & I saw a new Optima fully decked out & it was SHARP! Kinda resembles the Lexus IS from the back/side.
BTW - You will love the V once you get it.

If you like it, that all that matters. The only thing I question is to me they do not have a proven track record of quality. Me personally I know honda and acura do, plus they hold there resale value. Sounds high to me for a kia even though the options are nice. If I wanted out of it though, the Kia will lose more value than the honda/ acura. The extra 5000 on the acura would be given back u when sold it. Honda CRV HP sucks, but its an SUV. Same options, proven quality, same price and better resale value to me. Just my 2 cents.
Hope it brings your wife years of pleasure, good luck with it.
No lexus, but still would be an acura LOL!

thats out the door bro. You obv have not seen the new Kia lineup. I am by no means a Kia person but for the wofe its great and blows the kills everything else in its class. Looks 10 times better than any honda, toyota, or whatever in the price range.

For 30K I don't think I'd still have chosen a Kia, but congrats nevertheless! Main thing is that you and your wife are happy.
+1
I've actually never purchased a brand new car, but I would imagine any brand new car is great, but what happens in a few years is a different thing.
Kia, Hyundai etc. do have some nice looking vehicles in their current lineup and seems to have made a lot of progress in the areas of quality, fit/finish but how well it all holds up still remains to be seen.

I thought the same thing at first but once I started to look at other suv's in the same class nothing could compare in stlye and price and the options you get for the price. Like I said, Im not a Kia guy but we will see how it does in 5years. Kia and Huyundi are making very very nice cars now. ****, Huyundi has a 65k car now that is ballin as hell. lol

Didn't u say it was 30? Anyways.. It's nice don't get me wrong.. But I wouldve much rather gone with some of the other ones out there. I'm sure u bought this for a reason and u have stated that so that's all that matters.. Just giving ya **** man.. Hope ur wife enjoys it
