To be honest I didn't want you or anyone else to buy the Ford because I was having a lot of problems with the A/C and I couldn't figure it out so that's why I kinda talked you out of it. But I just replaced the compressor a week ago and that seems to have fixed it.

Have fun with your new truck, a tuner is worth every penny.
Kind of funny how you neglected to tell anyone about this issue in your classified ad for this truck.

It was in the process of being fixed so it didn't matter.. That's the only reason I haven't sold it sooner, I already have a deposit on it so it's a done deal anyways.

I'm sorry for not wanting to screw someone over..

I thought the Allison was the strong point in these trucks? 100 additional hp and it's on the edge?

I put down 365/752 through a stock trans and 35" toyo mts. I dont think thats too bad, theyre definitely not as strong as the fords 5 speed as with anything, if youre going to really push it, youre going to need the trans built anyway. Even the stout ford transmissions need to be rebuilt running the hottest spartan tunes. Stock sized tires, with a transgo jr and a nice torque converter plenty of guys with the 6 speed allison have made it last well into the 500rwhp range.

The funny thing is my friends duramax has wrecked everything but the transmission, still a damn good truck considering. It's held up well with a 19 year old that had everything handed to him behind the wheel.

And Spartans transmission tune helps a lot, if you don't beat it too hard it should last a little while.

The 6.4's are impressive with 650 rwhp and who knows how much torque on a stock trans.

When did Spartan come out with a 650rwhp tune on stock turbos, and who is running that tune with a stock trans for more than a glory run on the dyno?

Dont they have a 345 tune? There is a couple videos of them putting down mid 600's with Spartan, intake and exhaust. There's also one of the truck running high 12's.

I believe youre referring to mid 500s RWHP that is. Mid 600rwhp and only high 12s is really sad if that is the case. I havent paid much attention to the Fords here lately but I dont really see how they could get much more power out of them since theyre pretty much turbo limited like any other stock diesel.

there is a 350 tune for the Spartan Tuner, BUT head gaskets and bigger studs are needed.

I truthfully haven't seen the fuel only dyno numbers so i can't tell you what they are, but 600 shouldn't be too far off.

I grenaded my transmission while running some cars the weekend before Tx2k10 last year (a couple of them members on here). Too many highway pulls and burned out my clutch packs. (310 tune, stg II intake, 4" turbo back, around 550/1200 to the tires)
