dang, everyone else is either leaving the same morning or the morning after. the best time to drive is at night man haha. everyone else is asleep while we're on the road.

Not necessarily. I had to drive on I-10 in Mississippi about 2 weeks ago, it was 9:30pm and I got stuck in over an hour of traffic in the middle of nowhere. They do all their I-10 construction late at night, many areas neck down to 1 lane. This back-up was over 4 miles long.
