Picture? My 2011 has a aluminum 5.3, I looked and the only way to get the 6.2 was to buy the LTZ or Denali.

They don't know wtf there talking about, Back in 09 when they came out the LTZ was the only way you could get them, starting in 10 you could get them in the SLE or LT (Chevrolet Respectively). I just found out about some of the Texas edition that had 6.2's in them. If anybody is interested, I bought mine from Melynda at Beck N Masten North. She knew exactly how to order it, but I found one close that I picked up for a great price.

Here is some more pics for you.

Stupid *** car salesman, I should have done more research before I bought my Lt3 TE 4x4 Silverado. I stole it though, it stickered at 44,900 and before it was all said and done it was 31 out the door. I traded in my 07 ec silverado for another friendly 15 off. All said and done I paid 16 for it

My truck runs decent, it's a boat puller mainly. I really wanted a 6.2 though.

I should add that the night I took it home the thieves stole my stock 20" wheels. Less then 10 hours of owning it!

Exhaust is my biggest concern right now, I just don't know cause alot of people are telling me the 6.2's are so much louder than the 5.3's. I was considering a 22" Magnaflow with 3.5in/Dual 3in out and dump it behind each tire. I would eventally get longtubes with no cats so I don't want to rework the exhaust system after i do that.

Get the longtubes first then mess with the exhaust. Most seem to like the factory 6.2 exhaust with lts and ory. The factory muffler flows pretty well too, there's definitely better out there but its decent. Or you could just sell it to me

Leave the stock exhaust on and do long tubes, you'll love the way it sounds.

I run a muffler shop.

My 08 ext cab has been paid for since last year, a crew cab would be "nice" but not worth the payment nice. I had a 2011 Ram crew cab from work, back seats always got filled with junk in that thing just the same as the ext cab.

I think im going to try that at first, then if I don't like the tone I might change it out to a Long body Magnaflow for a different sound.
