Damn 10 bolt

Damn 10 bolt
So the seal blew out on the pass. side axle on my way from California. I replaced it and I'll be damned if it isn't leaking again. I must have messed up the seal when putting the new one in. Time to do it all over again. I will probably wait until next week and just order the Moser axles from Jaws on here. How do you normally put the seals in so that they don't get jacked up. On a side note... I guess the title of this thread should be "Damn wanna-be mechanics"

I thought about posting in classifieds for a used passenger side axle. Mine just has a nice bearing groove and all. I am trying to save for either a 9" or 12 bolt so trying to fix it "just enough for now"

as for the seal go to auto zone tell them you need a race seal installer, its just a lil handle with some flat disks that attach to it and hammer the seals in
heres the part number from auto zone

Ok thanks for this the tip on installation. I will make sure to get it. I am pretty sure I messed the seal up putting it in. I used a hammer and 2x4 cause its what I had. I figured it would be ok.
