Be careful out there guys, always check your VIN# and door decals. That is what they are there for, to help prove authenticity.

True Tony, that is why I just debadged the car, when Nathan bought it he put the SS badges on the car. If I wanted to pull some **** on someone I could have took the door stickers out of Lloyds car when I got all the rest of the stuff, lol... I am proud of whatever I am, no use in being fake haha

I was talking to Nathan about buying the car back in September or October of last year. He did tell me that it was a Z28 with a SS hood and spoiler and told me that a Hugger SS was totaled out and some how the hood and spoiler wasn't damaged. How a car can get flipped I'm assuming and the hood and spoiler come out flawless?? He said the same SS the hood and spoiler came from had a built motor so they swapped the motor and speedo to this Z which seemed very strange to me and was not comfortable about it and told him that and he understood. He was very nice and would answer any questions you had but I knew if I bought the car from him and decided to sell it down the road that the story would run people off. It's a sharp car never the less and would still drive it IF the price was right but couldn't pay a premium Hugger SS price to buy a fake Hugger SS with the history.

The car sat in the garage 5 of the 6 years I had it, with out a engine, reason being I always had another car I was focused on. People that have been around the car know it was in excellent shape, hell Nathan bought it as a roller from me for 7500.00, it does not make what he did to you right.
Yeah, misrepresentation is a bitch, ain't it Mike? Kinda like when someone trades a set of AFR 215 heads and says that they're the 225's

Default ur fault!!!!

I looked at this sweet ride myself several times. Nate was straight up with me about the car being a z28 and not an ss, i repeat a Z28 NOT an SS. He told me the same story he told derek about how invisiblez (assclown) put the ss hood and ss spoiler on the car and nate finished it with the ss badges. So fly pantera its no one elses fault but yours for buying the car and now finally months later, being upset about it being a z28 and not a ss. You even stated that you meant to call and check the vin when you first got it 2 years ago. So many guys that looked at buying this car got on here and said he was straight up with them about that! Chrismikeb your an assclown yourself for saying youll pay him a visit, you do that! lamo, not the guy you want to drive down here for. Try to be a tough guy some where else. The car is super clean, and for you to get on here and start a sob story about how your upset is ridiculous! This is a site to talk about cars, wine to your wifes if you have a sob story!!!! Haters!

True, but there is also the possibility that he got tired of people walking away when he told them the truth and decided to just pass it off as an HOSS.

Fly Pantera, I may be interested in selling my HOSS, garage kept, never seen rain, just barely turned 37K still smells new inside, 6speed white leather, all suspension done with perfect stance, heads, cam, headers. I also have an LS 427 motor built by my friend Pecos of LME, I could throw the motor in as a package.. It's an awesome HOSS.. I spend most of my time driving the tahoe, and too busy working finishing the restoration on my 69 Camaro Z28 RS which is being set up Pro Touring ala Mark Stielow, nothing but the best hardware on the car... Email me at lion_ofspain@yahoo.com

WTF are you talking about, I got the heads on a complete engine from Jeff, he was told as well as myself that they were AFR 225's, this is the first I am hearing of this. Why have you not contacted me if there was an issue seeing as you've had the heads for 6 months?

Mike, according to the part number stamped on the end of the heads, they're 215s. I have pics posted up in my FS thread in the TX classifieds if you would like to look at them and cross reference the part number to AFRs website. I'm still in the middle of my build, so when I bought them from you, I stuck them in my living room and there they sat until now because I'm about ready to move forward with the build. I honestly feel I got screwed pretty bad on the deal considering I bought those ETPs from you, which is honestly a better head, then had to spend $200 on them getting a bent valve replaced and replacing the valve seats, then traded them back to you for these under the pretense that these were 225s and I was getting something better suited to my application, and actually wound up going backwards. I'm not happy at all on this deal

Randy, Just to confirm what Mike told you about the AFR's etc.. The recipt I have is for AFR 225's and they were on my motor that Mike got from me etc... I never looked at or crossreferenced the number on the heads themselves. So if they are 215's you are not the first person to think they got one thing and recieved another etc... Did your machine shop actually measure them or are you just going off the numbers on the heads?

Jeff, I'm going off of the number stamped on the heads. Its the same as the part number listed for 215s. If I'm mistaken, I do apologize, but I really can't see why they would stamp a 215 part number on a 225 head. It just doesn't make good sense to me. I guess it seems there's a misunderstanding somewhere along the line, and Mike I apologize

Randy, I am sorry if something got screwed up. I called Jeff today after I seen your post, he confirmed they were 225's, he has the receipt and the flow number sheet for the heads. Please verify and lmk if you find something out.
