Wheels are a little big. I would have stayed with a 20".

Yes, the wheels are big. But so is the Camaro body. Factory tires are 28.7 inches tall, these 22" tires are only 28.3 inches tall. The car was built as a showcar for a booth, the 22s are definitely for show.

I think it all looks great except the wheels. I don't think anything much larger then 18's are cool. Just put some spinnas on da whip yo'!

Slightly different 18's front and rear.

The silver Camaro is a customer of mine. I sold him both sets of those wheels, he has the rear 20s most of the time that match the front wheels. The 18s are just his drag radials. He also has a set of 19s for road racing on the way.

Some of you guys would probably cry if you got beat by a girl driving a new Camaro with the convertible top down and rolling on 22s. It can happen

Very cute car Tony, lol... You did excellent work, but I have been used to your cars having alot of detail, so it is no surprise to me as to how it turned out.

What were you thinking? Should have went with some 15" Centerline Convo Pros!

Seriously, the size is fine. I'm not crazy about the actual wheel style, but that's just a matter of personal preference. As long as the lady's happy that's all that counts.

I hate the wheels, but like the rest of the car. The wheels sorta bring the whole package down to me.

had a change in taste? for some reason I remember you mentioning that you didnt like black tail lights on a black car. I believe this was a few years ago when we were at helix.

any more plans for the car?

I guess I can't please the TT2/ZR1/cast wheel crowd with this one. Doesn't matter, I dig the wheels and so do the various project sponsors.

Brook, I have tinted tails on my dark gray C6Z. I prefer red tails on a red car. I even had orange tails on my 99 hugger SS. It just has to compliment the overall car, not stand out too much. It also depends on the vehicle, I'd never tint tails on a luxury car like my CTS-V, makes the car look more like a teenager car then. It seems to fit better on sportscars like the Corvette.

This red vert is pretty much done. It is just a daily driver, and is already a bit too far on the showcar side as it is. I'll probably buy some cheaper 20" wheels for commuter duty and just save the 22s for shows and cruises.

Had the vert dyno tuned yesterday at LMR. It makes 440 rwhp and 441 ft-lbs. About 100 over stock in both cases. That was heat soaked and after numerous runs, so those are the typical numbers it will see on the street.
