Thinking of buying a 5th gen..
I've been thinking about the 5th Gen as well. Not sure whether I'd want a 6spd or auto. though.. Either way I'd want to atleast do most bolt-ons and a cam. I don't ever go to the track so a 6spd might be the way I'd lean towards. I'll still have my truck as a DD and just live a few miles from my work.
no, it's a 2wd SLE, everything but leather and a sunroof......
and just a thought, has anyone bought a 5th gen without the Console gauges and added them???? found an Aqua Blue one I really like in the price range but it doesn't have the console gauges is why I ask..

Mine has a Magnacharger, suspension mods, full exhaust, 535 rwhp, aftermarket wheels/tires, 12K miles on it. Manual trans. Wheels/tires have 200 miles on them. 275 front tires, 315 rear tires. $40K as it sits. $38K with OEM wheels/tires (polished).

I wouldn't get a manual trans if the design is like the G8 GXP's. Just for the simple fact that GM will use the "its a wearable part" excuse to not do anything to fix a clutch issue.
Mine is NOT for sale though.
