Default Thinking of buying a 5th gen..

Thinking about trading my truck or selling it to get into a 5th Gen, as I don't need my truck, and it's not parking garage friendly at my work...

just wondering what you guys that have them have to say about any known problems or whatnot... found a few used 2010's with pretty low miles and a few with mid rage miles (28-40k miles) really want a Cyber Grey 2SS or Silver 2SS.....test drove a 2010 6spd 2SS the other day and must say for a big car they move pretty well and are a fun as **** to drive.....

and it won't be modded for awhile, just a hwy cruiser really...

actually been hitting up the used ones more so than the new ones.....just gotta keep looking until I find one I truly want to pull the trigger on....and that would be a Cyber Grey 2ss.....stripes or no stripes doesn't matter as I have my own ideas for stripes...

If you ever plan on dragging it I'd go with an auto, if just casual then go with the m6 for fun.

Go for it. They are great cars. Ive had mine for a few years as my daily get me around and it hasnt given me a single problem. Just keep an eye on the maintanance records on the car you are going to buy. Even though these cars havent been out long i have seen quite a few ragged out 5th gens on the market.

Do you need the back seats? If you already have a daily look for a clean used 08ish C6.

Yes. The gauges run about $299, and plug in. Contrary to popular belief you do not need to see your dealer after adding them to get them active.

I've been thinking about the 5th Gen as well. Not sure whether I'd want a 6spd or auto. though.. Either way I'd want to atleast do most bolt-ons and a cam. I don't ever go to the track so a 6spd might be the way I'd lean towards. I'll still have my truck as a DD and just live a few miles from my work.
