coolant light on

Default coolant light on

I have a 99 trans am and the coolant light comes on I check it its full and the resevoir I was thinking the coolant level sensor on the radiator maybe wanted to see what ya think it could be

The coolant level sensor is a common problem, you can take it out and clean it which should fix it for a while. I ended up just unplugging mine.

Very common problem. Drain a little fluid out of the radiator and remove the sensor. You can clean it, replace it or just unplug it.

To help you out since you are new; try using the search tool... (I'm not calling you a tool, I just mean the function... you know..) It's all over the boards. In the future it will solve 99% of your ls1 issues; most any ls1 issue that arises has been addressed at least once in the past.

I have the same issue on my car and the fluid level is fine, I need to take a look and find that damn sensor?
