Picked up the car yesterday afternoon.

I'm pleased with how it came out.

What's with all the trash? Are purps importing evidence are you forgetting to admit you have a "clean your room" issue?

I'm a pack rat. I've kept a LOT of gas receipts in my center console.
They pretty much emptied it into my backseat.

Why did you claim such a small amount of damage?

I'm going to take a stab at this and say to get the rental and some sort of guarantee on the work?

This is a comprehensive loss and should not have any impact on his insurance premium or discounts.

Only problem with that is I've seen numerous people have their rates go up when they claim in their comprehensive and uninsured motorist. Neither should make premiums go up but it does. The number of claims also plays a role in getting dropped if you had more accidents in the future.

For the money he could've taken it somewhere and gotten it fixed for less and kept it off his insurance but to each their own.

But I wouldn't have received the free rental. I need to change insurance companies anyway. Raising my rates will just motivate me to do it sooner.
