Default Off to Iraq!

Found a PSD security job in iraq! Was going to go to college and do the ptech program but it doesn't start until January, so ill be heading to iraq to make some bucks before I start college!!

Well its 105 on 30 off...im staying till january. Registering for san jac on my leave for january, so roughly 5 months.

@Dave, its a good paying job, but the risk is high. Convoying thru baghdad still isn't safe, except this time im in a **** barely armored suburban...instead of being in an fully uparmored hmmv. But I tell u what, it beats the hell out of fallujah!

Well, i can definatley tell you some shops are getting their share lol. my lq9 has to be bored .030 more, i need new pistons, and a set of ls3 heads was going for a turbo build, but im thinking about just doing a NA build.

well it differs from company to company. Im going over for $500 a day. And yea, it definatley pays the bills its nice being debt free!

what was your occupation over there? doing PSD its not 189k, but its well over 6 figures!

Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic. I was working on various types of MRAPs.

high risk, high pay, but hey ! watch it out there and keep ur head low, try to keep to the Kurds area in Iraq its the safest atm.

wow. im really in the wrong line of work. i take it they prefer military experience to do these kind of things?
