Thats really a tough one. The WS6 is so rare, and looks so mean. But the cobras are pretty darn fast right off the bat.

I agree with Lemon, might as well look into a Vette. But the interior on the Cobras are nice also. Tough choice. I think you will be happy either way.

Ok you just confused me. Are you the original poster TARunner? Did you change names? I see now that TARunner is showing 0 posts, and you're talking like you're the guy...

Don't confuse me like that, it's not hard to do...

i like both the WS6 and Cobra however, the thing atleast around here is the 03s have not shown me any longevity with the big mods, i.e kenne bell or whipple making 700hp it seems like the ones here have always had something go wrong with them in some way shape or form i dunno. And they usually take them to HPP to be tuned. Now if its between a Vette and cobra, then theres no question Vette all the way. Call me biased but I really miss my 01 TR Z06

Lol.. It takes them a pulley to beat a stock z in most cases.

Heads and cam on the Z and It needs a blower swap. Like stated they get murdered in the turns but straight line Isnt too equal either. Just a cam and exhaust and it would need one hell of a strong pullied cobra.

I completely agreed that the Z is a better car. Never once argued it. I/we never said the Cobra was in the same league as the C5Z. Quit trying to convince me please.

I only noted that the question is 'WS6 or Cobra'. Not 'WS6 or Cobra or any other car you think is better'. I tried to stay in the bounds of the question. All I'm saying is, you guys could try doing the same. Someone ALWAYS gives the 'get a vette its better and costs the same' answer, no matter what cars are being compared, even when people aren't asking about vettes. That gets a little annoying... Everyone should be driving vettes based on the frequency of that answer...
Fwiw, I would take a Ws6 over either. If you are going to buy a cobra, why not get a z instead? Very similar cars, m6 Irs more rare etc... cost the same but the z destroys it in performance.

Ok the sound is all opinion, but they DEFINITELY do not respond better to bolt-ons.

Besides a pulley swap their gains aren't any better than an ls1. Add heads and cam and it takes a blower swap or a stout ported eaton at minimum.
