this thread is stupid, I hate people knocking on other peoples setups. How about some respect for the GM family or just car people in general ( excluding ricers )

But I bet a modified non production block based LS is just fine for comparisons sake.
The logic is a LT1 is 350 cubes.Get out your feeling.

Still stupid because what production LS is 454 cubes? None. Build a stroker LT1 your still using a production LT1 block, port a set of LT1 heads there still LT1 heads even you go bigger on the valves. I could care less what you or any one else thinks about LT1s, but your statement is one of the most retarded things I have ever read on this site. Stroker LT1s are still considered LT1s and have been for as long as I have known.

Doesn't matter what you do to it. If it's got an opti in the front still it's still an LT1. Lol

I just think its stupid how it went from LS1 to LT1. A rebuild on that LS1 might of been cheaper. LT1s have potential just like LS1 but LS1s are the ****!!!!!

Then maybe i am stupid and retarded to you, but it is just a LT platform once it is stroked and no longer the factory cubes, a LS1 jugged to 427 cubes is no longer a LS1 either, it is just a LS block utilized, that is how it is, you dont have to agree, but dont get in your feelings.

Way to go fellow mod.

Its still pretty dumb to compare a stock production block to a non production block. So im guessing my stock "modified" heads ant the same heads i bought on my car? I'm guessing thats your logic. So ur stock 5.3 block ant a stock production 5.3 now beacuse u have added stuff to it ? I'm highly confused

I think the statements retarded, not you personally. But on the way to go fellow mod part, you are also a mod in the LT1 section but I have seen you to talk **** about them any chance you get or they're mentioned, so way to go on your part too. I have had an LT1 for a long time, your not the first person I have seen talk **** about them, hell I have had people talk **** about my car to my face and on here, if I cared what people thought about them, I would have got ridden of mine a long time ago, but I don't. I am sure you can relate seeing as much **** gets talked about third gen cars.

Been a long while since i talked bad about a LT motor asides from playing here and there, but you seemed really bothered any negativity was brought to a LTx or the fact that my opinion of a modded block is no longer a OE motor designation.

A LQ4 has dish pistons and a LQ9 has flat tops, same block, different pistons, same goes for a LT1 to a LT4, the top end is different but the block is the same, so for me the logic is that once pistons and crank ect have been changed, it is just the XX platform, didnt know my opinion would go so far.
