Poor Lt1 owners allways getting made fun of for having slow cars. lol

I will say Lt1's have a small place in my heart but, their is no way in hell I could do that to that model of a Firebird.

^ So if you only had a choice between a V6 and an LT1 you'd pick a V6? Come on i dont think so.

Who wouldn't do that. I would rather have a LT1 than a V6 any day. Ya a LS1 would be extremely more ideal but smart move in my book, we dont know all the details on the swap but im sure he obviously had a good reason not to go with a LS1. He even put a WS6 hood on and painted the 16" stockers black, just needs to change out that hatch and rear bumper now.

The swap probably cost a lot of time and money. I agree. Who does that?

I bet this was a perfect sleeper back in the day. There wasn't too many people that had a firebird look with a V8 back then(omit FIREHAWK's). I approve the Vette engine swap and I bet every single ricer he saw got smoked but I am sure now its not as fun because those "other guys" are putting down that same power. I traded in my 91 Iroc Z for my said T/A and I would have felt upset had I raced his stock looking firebird in my Iroc and got kicked. I could have gotten this for 3500.00 if the interior is ok looking and swapped it out for a 383 but changed the hood back to stock. thats a sleeper.

Cam swap for cam swap, LS1 @ 7000 > LT1 @ 6200, the LS screams, the LT1 does not, that is why the LS runs better, more RPM is more power when everything is in sinc.

You have a GEN II block that is poked and stroked, no longer a LT1, so line up with a 454+ ci LS and have a blast.

What kind of stupid *** logic is that? Gen II block is an LT1, bore is stroke it, still an LT1 you just modified the factory block, if you port a set of Lt1 heads by your logic they won't be LT1 heads any more because they have had work done to them and the parts aren't stock? But I bet a modified non production block based LS is just fine for comparisons sake.

OK guys stop all this tough talking. I messaged the guy and he said it was LS1 at first, the previous owner swapped it for an LT1 when the LS1 blew.
