Here is my "Shade Tree (Barn Find without the barn) 2002 WS6
Last week I went to Wharton to pick up a low mile 2002 RS Z28 that had some front end damage from hitting a deer. When I get to the house I noticed a WS6 sitting under a tree with a tarp over the top. You can tell it has been sitting there for some time since the cloth tarp was falling apart and the tire were dry rotted and flat.
I proceeded to buy the Camaro and when I got the car loaded on the trailer the gentleman said that his brother may sell the WS6. I asked him how many miles were on the car and he said around 24k… I went over and looked at it and the car still looks and smells brand new inside. I did a quick walk around and did not see any scratches or dings and asked him about the tarp being on the car and why it was not driven. He said the back window needed to be re-glued since it has separated from the top, fuel pump went out and the battery was dead. Apparently his brother did not like the fact the car was an auto so he quit driving it a few years ago when the pump went out.
About a week goes by and I sent him a text asking about the car and after a little negotiating I ended up making another trip to Wharton last night to pick it up for $10,500.00…
The car has Kooks Stainless headers, Corsica exhaust, Aftermarket stereo system, Dyna mat flooring, and a few other bolt ons. He even had a new OEM fuel pump in the box that he bought and never put on.
I debated on just cleaning the car up and selling it but after giving it a nice bath it is a really nice car. I already have a Yank convertor, Patriot heads, Cam and a few other bolt ons I can install. I’m just worried about hurting the value by doing too many mods.
I’m in the process of looking for some new wheels and tires that will set this car off. If you know of any wheels/tires for sale please let me know.
Here are a few pictures I took before and after washing it today. I will be getting a professional detailing job done when I get it on the road. I really wish I would have taken a picture as it sat when I got it.

will do but for the moment I'm going to sell the other 3 cars and keep this one for a little bit
He said they were custom made but they do have the Cobra on the center caps
Thanks, I will get better pictures when I have the time to really get it clean.
Thanks, I've always wanted a white WS6 but after seeing this one I really like it.
