Default Anyone From San Angelo?

Just wondering if anyone on the board is from San Angelo? I just moved here and this town is very small and not a lot of fun...and there is a LOT of stangs for some reason and like 10 F-bodies.

Sorry, but I bought the or one of the "dominant" Camaros in San Angelo and brought her home to Austin.

My Vortech SS was built by Terry Butler, owner of Austin Body Shop. Great guy and real craftsman. He used to pretty much rule that small town with the car, although he was very rarely challenged.

Todd, i used to live in san angelo when i went to college. And i remember when that guy put the blower on his car. He rarely ran that car and always wanted to run one of my friends (93 Cobra with 750+ rwhp) for the town title but that never happened. But that is pretty cool that you bought that car.

I'm in the Airforce and went to tech school at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo. I'm from Dallas, so it wasn't too bad. Where I am now, Clovis, NM.... yeah that sucks ***.

well, i just got back from San Angelo about 30 minutes ago, and all I can say is that other than a Very nice college basket ball stadium, and some GREAT looking girls that town sucked ***. most of the people were rude, saw 3 recks in about a 1/4 mile area of Knickerbocker St. Zenther's Daughter's was AWESOME though....

yea that car was pretty sweet. Terry has all sorts of bad *** cars, he made deal with his wife that if she let him build them he wouldnt race them. he sold you that car without ever having it to the track, didnt you run like high 11s? I know he would cruise by going about 45 punch it and walk sideways
Hes drivin a new S.R.T.10 truck now, along with his race built Zo6 vette, his 70s firebird & collection of indian motorcycles. Ide say he still has some of the fastest/coolest cars in town.

BTW- my buddy almost bought that car but his bank droped the ball and it sold. congrats...

I think it just has a Magnacharger with 5lbs of boost, Merlin Block? in his Z06? He might have a merlin block in his 70's Firebird but not in the Z06. I would like to race the Z06!
