A lot of dealers here still add 5k to 10k here on the price due to supply and demand purposes. If they sell, they add more. If they don't, you can usually get a better price.

As far as "GM needs to do it right", that is where the ZL1 comes in. They know a lot of hot rodders are bitching about it. Hince the ZL1. Plus GM has always said that the Camaro is always number 2 on their list. Want something better, get a vette.

Adding $5k-$10k on top for a Camaro? I bought my car a year ago for $2k under MSRP.

Bogart and Weld make 17" rims that fit on the Camaro for drag racing. A lot of companies make 18" rims that fit too and you can fit a nice 18" M/T or M&H drag radial that will hook good.

HTX, you obviously aren't a serious shopper if you haven't found a Chevy dealer to sell a new Camaro at MSRP or less. In Houston alone, every dealer will sell them at MSRP or less. They did the mark-up BS back when the cars first came out, but not in the last year or more. Buckalew Chevy in Conroe will sell them. Classic Chevy in Sugarland will also sell them no hassle. I bought one from each of those dealers.

Thanks JUISSD... yeah I am seriously going to consider buying a used 2010-2011 Camaro SS. Thanks for the info on the Bogarts & Welds.

Those new 5.0's don't F around. If I didn't wanna catch all kinds of hell I'd actually think about getting one over the Camaro.

Wow. If I could have picked up an SS for 31k last summer when I was looking I would have jumped on it. But all I came across were 40k price tags... similar to the link I posted.

Those bogarts are expensive as ****...its funny that 17's Drag Radials can be had for like 300 a pair. The price jumps nasty once going to 18's for some odd reason. Almost double the price. Im just gonna get some c6 18's and go from there.
