Interesting response from a forum that appraises violence and "Texan justice"... hmmm
That is very compassionate of you to let your old friends off the hook. Im not sure if I would be so forgiving... then again I never would have put my trust in a drug dealer...
Good luck with whatever you do.

Some of the best advice I was ever given was this:
If you loan a friend $100 and never see him again, it was worth it.
I know the amounts differ but the meaning still stands. Chalk it up to Kharma and learn from it.
That being stated as what I would do, if you are still bent about the money you could always wait until he's holding big and call crime stoppers. They offer rewards and you could tell them you want exactly $375 for this guy. Let him know it was you and the reason why when they hook him up and cart him off. Either way I guess, but letting it go would be the grown up thing to do.

Step one: nail the landlord.
Step two: call the cops about scum bag roommate #3 about his drug dealing. if he deals enough **** for it to be a felony, go through crime stoppers and you might get some money for turning him in.
Step 3: if you want to build your credit, go to a credit union and get a secured loan.
