I'll one up you. I was there for the first time in the new ride and did a 2.506 60'. Not going back until I get drag radials. 19" street tires don't hook for crap-oh-la. Plus I need a lot of practice. Used to running an auto and not a manual.

I made some test hits on Friday the weather was good. Had some 1.4's 60 ft's, but the intake and gears are killing me on the top end. Ran a best of 10.6 at 128 with the front sway bar on and the hatch well full of tools. Drove the car out there on slicks and jumped in line. I ain't scared First time I raced the car in months. Dynoed the car at LMR the past weekend and tonite backs up the dyno info. Its time for a real intake. Which one???

Car weighed 3550 with driver. The Shelby sounds baddazz lined up behind you on one pass. I'll be out at the NMCA /NMRA next weekend.

FAST 102 would work pretty well for your 416 CID. If you went high 1.4's maybe you also need more converter and/or gear.

Thats leaving off the foot brake at 1500 rpm. The 102 might help. I need about 500-800 more rpm. I need a rear drag bar too leave off the trans brake.

I like the half poly drag bar setups for cars that still get driven, I had the BMR and the Spohn, cars went 1.35 and 1.38 off the transbrakes.
