What hotel would you recommend in Dallas? The GF and I are going to go to Dallas for a little instate short vacation in a couple weeks. Will be up there for 3-4 nights. What hotel do you guys recommend? Sounds like she wants to stay downtown. She was looking at the Omni Hotel but I figured I'd post up here prior to making reservations.

The Hyatt in Downtown is where I stayed last week and it was pretty badass. And the Reunion tower has a restaraunt/bar in it, but make sure you have reservations and wear a collared shirt

The sheridan on market street is pretty nice too its right next to medival times and if you wanted to go to a dallas stars game you can see the arena from there. I got a suite for about $80 a night and its close to downtown.

I still havent seen anything in down town dallas as nice as ftw. Not only does ftw have the down town area but you also have the 7th st area just outside down. Then if you are into the cowboy thing you have northside. Ftw has done a much better job.
