Ipod/Iphone hook up to stock radio
I did a search and couldn't locate anything but I do remember someone I think local that added the hookup to their stock monsoon.
If so, can someone direct me in the right direction. I'm tired of using a FM Transmitter and like to take the plunge.

I appreciate you're input but that's not what I'm looking to do. I like the stock look and I don't need a crazy stereo system.
I want to say it was TXhotboi that did this but I cant remember.

I was searching on this a few weeks ago, but I believe the kit that is being sold is limited to certain years of headunits.
It's a PIE or PAC adapter or something; i'll see if I can find the thread.
Here's a few threads:

or this one if you want to take the HU apart..

I have a 2002 with CD player but no CD changer. I'm a little confused on if I'm able to do this or not? I don't want to hack up my stereo for no reason so if you have any idea that would be awesome. I keep seeing contradicting information.

PAC AAI-GM9 Aux Input MP3 IPOD Tahoe S-10 Suburban NEW
And it did not work, this one was for a 01 and up head unit with a single CD changer, but apparently we do not have a "slave unit" for the kit to plug into. I am returning this one shortly to get my money back.
I don't want to hack up my radio either : \

USA Spec Ipod Interface is a really nice unit, IIRC it allows steering wheel controls and charges the Ipod
See them from time to time used on here for sale.

It was me... Ive sent you a pm as mentioned but here is a layout for other guys just in case anyone is interested.
Parts:
RadioShack® 1/8" Stereo Panel-Mount Phone Jack
Model: 274-246 | Catalog #: 274-246
$2.69
Speaker wire
Black Tape
Solder
Open the bottom of the radio and what you are going to be looking for is 2 wires that hook up to the cd connector
The two wires are going to be your left and right channel
Then you need to follow this diagram as far as hooking it up
Pin 1 - Ground - connect to the stereo chassis
Pin 2 - Left Channel - wire from CD connector on main circuit board
Pin 3 - Left Channel - wire coming from CD player module
Pin 4 - Right Channel - wire coming from CD player module
Pin 5 - Right Channel - wire from CD connector on main circuit board
Tape it all up and put it together

i did this to my 02 silverado ecsb about 2 years ago and it works perfect, no glitches what so ever! do and dont look back, it's not as hard as it may seem. i give it a 3-4 out of a 10 (10 being the hardest)
