You have the wires crossed on the headlight motor. There are 2 wires that control the lift and down and if they are crossed will cause that problem.

lol..manually lower the one light, then it will be back in sync..

Or, an easier way, Turn the lights off.. have someone hold the open lamp up and then turn the lights on.. that will put them back in sync... been there done that..

If its not wired backwards there is actually a box that controls the headlights, it might be bad. I had so many problems with mine it was unbelieveable. I changed the motors, I changed the gears to metal, I did everything. I even hardwired it, i finnaly took it to a stealership and they replaced a relay box by the headlights and it worked like a charm. Damn I was mad lol

Check the long metal arm looking think that sits on that white rubber piece . Mine did that I had to adjust it and now it works fine . Use the correct working headlight as your model .

Remove the arm and lower the headlight manually . Put the metal arm back on and bolt the tornillo

i have the same freakin problem. Everything worked fine, except the passenger motor made a grinding noise on closing. Put in a reman'd motor from advanced.
Now they are out of sync. It works perfect, just backward.

Ive lowered and raised it manually, and flipped the switch, no luck.i Took the arm off and flipped it, no luck. Unhooked the battery and set them to the same spot, no luck. Done everything i can think of except cut and splice the wires bacwards!!!

unhook the faulty motor, then turn the lights on, wait a few seconds then plug faulty motor back in... maybe that will work... the module doesnt know OPEN or CLOSED.. it just does on function for ON and the opposite for OFF. the module just tells the motors to turn off when they hit the stoppers...

After trying all kinds of retarded ****, i switched the wires on the motor.

I took the connector apart, depinned the two wires for the motor and swapped their places, and reinserted them into the connector.

Problem solved. Works like new.

Hmm, those harnesses only go on one way. I am guessing the parts store gave you the wrong side headlight motor then? For example, if your driver's side headlight was working correctly but your passenger side wasn't, then the parts store gave you a left motor on the passenger side or vice versa. That's the only thing I can think of.

It wouldn't bolt up, I tried it. They're backwards from eachother.

I had the same problem with the reman motors From autozone. Sometimes they put the motors on backwards.

Have them order you a brand new unit and that will fix the problem
