STOLEN!!! Truck in Houston.
Hey guys in Houston if your out on the roads keep an eye out. My dad and I went to eat lunch at wings n more on 45 north near airtex and came out to an empty parking spot. It was his truck, a black 2006 silverado 1500hd 4x4, 4 door, black plastic bedcover. License plate 53T JG4. God I hate thieves. Thanks for keepin an eye peeled in advance....
UPDATE: Truck was found down near Harrisburg St in downtown Houston. Unfortunately it had no front fenders, hood, grille, headlights, bedcover, bumper, or wheels and tires. All the tools and hunting gear were missing as well. This was definitely a pro job, those parts are probably going on someone else's truck at some crooked *** body shop right now. Thanks anyways folks who kept an eye peeled for a fellow car guy.

My family had a van stolen on vacation (bad time to be without a vehicle, I assure you) and it was TRASHED, according to my brother - who was the only one who ended up seeing it once it was recovered a few days later. He said it looked like they tried driving it down an alley about 2 inches more narrow than the van itself.
Theives are the worst!

I would have hope of it being recovered had it been some kids who stole it but this was a pro. No glass on the ground. The only evidence was the bottom plastic off the steering column where he either hot wired it or punched the cylinder. The huge pisser is the bed had a bunch of hunting stuff and a couple thousand in tools and equipment.
I almost scare myself at the thought of some of the unspeakable horrible things I would do to these *********** if I ever caught them in the act. A thief is just above serial killer and child molester in my book. I have no tolerance or sympathy for someone who will just take what someone else busted their *** to get.

Actually, the truck has been paid off for three years. Also I highly doubt a repo guy would be leaving pieces of the steering column in the parking lot.
But regardless, either keep your trap shut with the stupid *** comments or gtfo of my thread dipshit.

Might go the diesel route this time around. Gonna look at the big three for 3/4 and 1 ton single wheel 4 door 4x4s and see what looks best. Hopefully that will be a little silver lining
