trumpets around the world??? Just saw this on youtube a weird sound has been ringing around the world like trumpets. Can this be the begining of something to come what y'all think???
I'm a trumpet player, so this thread was TOTALLY not what I thought it was going to be about. I was expecting someone to have "discovered" Echo Taps (look it up, good stuff), but it's a little early for Memorial Day.

There's a lot of theories on what it could be. The most popular being that some say it's a hoax, some play off the hoax angle by saying it's viral marketing for an upcoming movie (Cloverfield 2 perhaps, not sure if this is in the works or not)

All hoaxes utilizing sounds from the "Kiev sounds" video and the walkers on War of the Worlds. I'm near Amarillo and a couple of radio DJs tried same hoax vid (search Amarillo sounds) using Kiev sounds....problem was, it was 11:50 at night and DJ pretending to announce on radio is off after 5pm block, and there was midday birds chirping in the dead of night, clearly off the Kiev vid. Just a bunch of idiot trying to get a rise out of weak minded ppl.
