No N/A cars on the street making 1000-1200whp bro. Almost everyone I know that wants to go fast does some sort of turbo build to make around that power. The bad news is that whatever is built is quickly humbled by a UGR car.

Cars with as little as 400 rwhp can be difficult launch from a dig without drag radials or slicks, roll racing helps to solve that. I found I have to be rolling at around 60 mph in 2nd on street tires to keep from burning up the good ol' GoodYear RunCraps(quite possibly the worst tire ever). So far the best races were a stock Z06, slightly modded 2010 GTR and 2005 Gallardo with exhaust and intake. Tied the Z06, GTR would get me by a fender and I beat the Gallardo by 3-4 car lengths.

If they won't dig, ask for a slow roll or a 10-15 roll..
Starting higher than 60 to me is a waste.. Like mentioned above, I don't trap above 140 so why take it any higher..
Dig ftw!

As someone with a stick car, I prefer roll racing as I know I cannot take an good automatic out of the hole. When I drove an automatic with a small converter, I was all about racing from a dig.
Everyone wants to win, and will tweak their preference to give themselves a slight advantage.

True
So with everyone's comments I'm guessing roll racing has it's reasons. It doesn't require suspension work, safer on parts ( no way safer on our life's ) and for fun. But any one on this forum that races from a dig like at a strip , and can kick has is hands down to me a sick car. Congrats to ya!!! Nothing like those street cars that can hook and not have any excuses. Built from back to front.
I never ever though ( when my car ran lol) raced in public streets or high ways. We kept it in industrial roads with zero roads that intersect. Only ones in danger where the two that where racing.
