The worst headwind was at around 10am. You couldn't even keep a baseball hat on standing in to it and made your eyes water. It stayed strong, but then started to die down at about 1pm. I think I left at 215-230, and was already a lot less than earlier. I made the comment about not running when we got there at 915 because it was strong enough to shake your car when sitting in the parking lot.

Mikey is tuning sonofabitch.
Thanks, nice to meet you all! You all are a bunch of cool guys, definetly worthy of having some of the top vettes in Texas. Beautiful cars, great driving, and what a blast. Sorry about the incredible headwind we all faced. I heard it died down after I went to work, but eitherway, everybody was rolling out hard!
Exactly the friendly competition that we need to continue with these outings. I'm just not a big fan of SAR, even though I cut 1.6 60ft's in my 435whp z06 and have a family house on the River. The track in Houston is a better track if you can take out a 25mph headwind. Look forward to seeing you guys soon and I love having a street car only track rental.

For sure. I'll talk to Mikey and we can cordinate another date to run them again. Does early April work for ya'll or too soon? I'll see if I can get some of my friends together and run their wicked fast street cars out there.

How are you keeping the rear end together. I have an 08 (stock) and didn't realize the rear ends were weak until a 05 was at the track in front of me at the race track this past weekend (I was in my turbo lsx fox body) and he scattered his rear end all over the track (I believe he was cam only). Then I asked a buddy and he said they are weak as hell.

That makes me feel better. This 05 I saw blew it's rear in spectacular fashion, I'm talking picking up parts with a shovel/gallon of fluid on the ground.
