i feel the same way , i have about 5 grand left to finish the car, but if i sold the car and put that 5 grand towards another car i could get way more of a built car, i will never build another car, there to cheap to buy then build, at the same time whenyou buy a built car just make sure it was built by a top notch shop that does great work, in 2 years i will have about 17 grand saved up, and i plan on buying something sweet, for 17 grand you can get a monster of a car that would cost you 30 to build lol

You got to build one before you know what you want. First one is always a learning experience, I am glad I had an fcar before getting the c6.

I have personally been through 24 transmission, 19 rearends, and now on my fifth motor. I have been down the "rush to get it done road" and it sucks and cost a lot more money. My car has been down probably more than it has been running in the last 9 years. It has been down this time for almost a year and a half just because I cant make up my mind. I have almost sold it four times but I just can't bring myself to let SOMEONE ELSE finish MY project.

Like they said before, "There is NO feeling like the first time you take your finished project on its maiden voyage." As long as it doesnt come back on a trailor. lol

Cars been sitting for 3 months drove it once before it broke n it was a blast. Taking a break but wana get it back up for tx2k12. Been lazy n i have a daily now so its whatever lol. But its worth it i did everything in the backyard it was fun n at times made me wana cry lol.

It has taken me a long time. Between getting screwed over by a shop and switching combo's and waiting on the current shop to get done I have over 4 years and over $35k in my build and no running car. However it was a big build.

Really hit home when I was going thru some paper work and found by build reciept for my motor that has yet to have oil or fuel thru it yet dated. 11-15-2007

I have wanted to throw in the towel many many times however its almost done. But at the same time wtf am I going to do when it is running.

Don't sell. I regret selling my last Z but the one I just picked up is nice but still needs mods. Unless you can find something solid and from a reliable person I would watch who I buy a modded car from.
