Who remembers these amps. I used to have an M50 powering an old kicker free air 15. It was my first amp and sub setup.

We used to burp one dd 9515 in a crx with 4 crossfire vr1000d on 16volts at .67ohm roughly 8000 watts. And we also had the Crossfire super modified 1001-5000 blazer 3 dd9515 or 3 atomic APX 15 on 12 crossfire vr1000d amps.

I luckily never had to have anything that low end. I remember all old school car audio, worked at a few shops growing up.

Edit, never had a M series PG, but I had a Frank Amp N Stein new in 92, still have it. Also have about 12 other PG amps and 6 HCCAs (5 2100s and a 250 like pictured earlier)

Used to use a lot of PPI amps. I cannot find a pic of them but did anyone ever use the Crutchfield Amps? They were built for Crutchfield by PPI.

He's prob referring to the earthquakes due to their higher distoration levels.
Most likely he's a SQ guy vs. a SPL guy.

I used to use Clarion receivers the most back in those days.

Also built a few systems with the Alphasonik amps.

Correct. They call it SQL now for what I'm into. Hit 146 at the glass with sub gains on zero for SQ with 2 12s in a 5th order in HS 15 years ago. This is what was in it.
