Back in the late 80's early 90's, they had three of us with 4 15's in 2nd gens. The other two guys had RF Punch woofers with Punch 1000 amps. I was the poser with the RF Series 1s and a Pyramid Gold amp.. I also had a sweet Sherwood eq! It was close enough to Kenwood to be cool.. heh

My first system was 2 q-power 15's(the old silver ones) and the Lanzar Optidrive, but I can't remember the model or how much it pushed.

Was kinda crazy how stereo modifying just exploded in the 90's - it went from your setup to Alma Gates in like 5 years flat.

Yeah, I got obsessed with it for a while. Sucked getting a flat tire when the spare is under the trunk and your trunk is full of audio ****. I'm pretty sure my hearing still suffers to this day.

I haven't touched a car stereo in 15 years or so. Even though the stereo in my truck has sucked and gotten progressively worse over the years, I just prefer leaving things alone. Man, I'm getting old. I was actually stoked about the Monsoon stereo when I bought my TA like 7 years ago. Still think it sounds good, compared to what I've grown used to.
