We used to burp one dd 9515 in a crx with 4 crossfire vr1000d on 16volts at .67ohm roughly 8000 watts. And we also had the Crossfire super modified 1001-5000 blazer 3 dd9515 or 3 atomic APX 15 on 12 crossfire vr1000d amps.

I luckily never had to have anything that low end. I remember all old school car audio, worked at a few shops growing up.
Edit, never had a M series PG, but I had a Frank Amp N Stein new in 92, still have it. Also have about 12 other PG amps and 6 HCCAs (5 2100s and a 250 like pictured earlier)

He's prob referring to the earthquakes due to their higher distoration levels.
Most likely he's a SQ guy vs. a SPL guy.

I used to use Clarion receivers the most back in those days.
Also built a few systems with the Alphasonik amps.
