Default New Truck

Not a LS based car, but its a shiny new truck. Turbo back straight pipe and programmer to be ordered tomorrow. Such a nicer truck than my '06.

I can tell you stock vs. stock, it has way more power than the '06. I have driven it a total of about 10 miles thus far. Will know better this week. Eager to get all this DPF crap off of it.

I had a 08 GMC Duramax and I miss it every time I tow something. Big Lift and big wheels and tires with a car trailer and car and the truck never sweat.

Good looking truck, you will not be disappointed.

The dogs won't see the inside of this for a long time. They can ride in the brown or white truck.

I've read those trucks are rather quick off the showroom floor. Should be a fun ride after the tuning.

This is what I am doing with a turbo back straight pipe exhaust. http://www.xtremediesel.com/handsper...axx109003.aspx

Very common programmer with good results. Turns off the EGR system, and DPF. Real world results of 3-4mpg increase. More importantly, get rid of the EGTS that wreak havoc on your turbo. DPF is horrible for longevity. You dont need a shop for the install of programmer or exhaust, its very straight forward. I opt to install the EGT probe, that would be the hardest part. You have to drill and tap one of the exhaust manifolds.

Ross, it moves pretty good for a stock truck. I would say about the same as my '06 on level 2 with edge juice and full exhaust.

I have an H&S Mini Maxx in my Dodge. Good programming. Easy to use, update, etc.

I drilled my exhaust just after the turbo so I could see heat difference from the turbo a well. Usually there is around a 300 degree drop but it saves the headache of drilling the manifold
