Top Fuelers go from 0-60 in 0.84 seconds and cover the quarter mile in about 4.5 seconds.

You put 20" street tires (not drag radial) on your car and go down the street and beat that? This is a full weight car on street tires not drag radial on a public road not a prepped drag strip.

If I mini-tubbed the car I might. Not sure why I'd hamper myself with 20" street tires though. I guess if I was looking to do flying mile I'd change some things up. Definitely lots of advantages to AWD. Some of these new trannies are really holding up like the GTR's and Lambo's to the big power. I've spent about 70K over the last 10 years on my turd. Should've saved my pennies I guess instead.

Car is def pretty bad ***. But not my cup of tea. If I can't work on it in my garage myself then I probably shouldn't own it lol

I think this maybe UGR's "new platform" to compete against the GTR for 1/4 mile racing. I think it's going to be getting it done.
Now the AMS Alpha Omega that went 8.72 did impress me abit but even then, I think it trapped 172 mph or something like that? Thats good for abit lower 8's in the right chassis setup.
I think the gallardo has already been 170's in the 1/4 mile leaving off 4 drag radials but still only ran low 9's or something? Its been awhile since I seen the vid. Amazing cars but not great drag racing applications at the strip

The GTR's I've seen at TK2K12 didnt really impress me as far as ET goes but they didnt need a burnout either and some of them probably were on street tires. Some were on drag radials it looked like...but none of them seemed to 60 ft well. I'm talking low 10's MAYBE a high 9 at 145-150mph... Those traps should be good for low 9's. They just didnt seem to be setup to launch hard. AWD on the street however is the cat's meow and they would work great there.
