Rear speakers... Help..
Ok, my rear speakers finally let go.. The ones that are next to the back seats..
They are 6 1/2 dual voice coil..
There are no aftermarket replacements I've found
I went to a audio shop and they said get factory or replace the whole system..
Anyone have any ideas or experience with this ?

I just posted some pictures of my sail panel install of some speakers I got from Kee in this thread.

Im at work so it wont let me click the links. I take it the Kee options are plug and play with the monsoon setup? I replaced all my speakers and my head unit with Pioneer pieces. I just ran new speaker wire over the existing monsoon crap.

if you dont want anything fancy and want it to be as simple as possible, just go with the Kee Audio set. the factory speakers are a non common size. they are usually listed as 6.5" oversize or 6.75"... and not too many options available for them. you usually end up buying a standard 6.5" set and hoping the adapter brackets work without any hassle. Kee lists that set as specific for the f-body, so i'm betting its an easy install.
i put a higher end aftermarket set with amps and everything in my DD camaro, and it was a royal pain in the ***. i put 6.5" infinity components in the front doors and sail panels, and i had to do a lot of monkeying around to get them to mount up due to the way the adapter mounts were. the end result was good, but it was just a lot of work.
