Looking forward to trying out autocross Im still not done with the car due to a lack of parts, but im really eager to run an autocross course. Not trying to be in a class or anything. Just for fun.
It used to be set up for drag, but ive grown weary of drag racing....and breaking ****.

BMR chromoly rear control arms
Eibach pro kit
AGX rear shocks
Strut tower brace
I cant fit a rear sway bar woth my exhaust, but it handles well without it. Eventually ill figure out something.

Same here, i drive my third gen camaro allot, and the last setup in the 89 i just wrecked was just getting to be too much for a daily driver, a 6.0 with a cam was fun when i was younger i guess, but now my taste has changed. Looking to do a 4.8, spin it to 7700 or so and keeping the T56 from the 89, just got a deal worked out with another member here for a 5 speed 91 that will be getting all the treatment. I am not familiar with setting up a car to take corners and do so with the max ability, but i cannot wait to get to try it out. Will be putting the 6.0 from the RS into the TA, so i will have the 3 speed auto drag car that can drive on the street and the 91 for daily use and auto x.
Too bad you are in SA, would be great to have another just getting into it so i have a PIC to look foolish with the first times out.

In the central florida region scca they have instructors that will ride/drive with you to improve your time. My wife drove her 2.2 ecotech grand am and i drove my bird. no records broken but we had a blast and learned a lot about our cars
