Finally Made Some Passes
Finally Made Some Passes So I finally got out and made a few full passes with the car. All passes were made with minimum timing in the car and footbrake, all motor as well.
I tried coming off the trans brake once but car got sideways so I let out.
1st Pass
60' - 1.482
1/4 time - 10.09
MPH - 134
2nd Pass - no time
3rd Pass
60' - 1.456
1/4 time - 10.01
MPH - 136

The car has a lot more in it, next time we will put more timing in it and go 9s all motor.

Nice times man especially for shake down runs and the air isn't even close to ideal. You should be able to knock down some easy 9.7s or better with Fall air and the tune dialed in.

Nice, surely plenty in it, a member here went high 9s with a carbed 6.0, 799 heads that were milled .040, no other head work with a polluter cam, gutted of course, but impressive for a junk yard dog. That beast there has tons left.

Verdad Gallardo I know theres a lot left in the car. Plus we had the suspension so tight that the car would not stand up much. There is many adjustments needed but now that I know the car will go straight we can start playing with suspension and timing, etc.

After watching that video that car has a lot left. You left easy and went a 10 oh. I'm gonna start looking for a 4 eyed coupe or gt in January and swap the drivetrain out of my camaro. The car looks good too

On motor the car runs 6.2x in the 1/8th. The car definitly pulls harder on the big end.
