Default Help with ? About pulling motor

I have an 02 camaro ls1/t56

In the process of pulling motor and wondering what's the easiest route when pulling motor and tranny together?

From top or bottom?

from bottom for sure... disconnect any lines (fuel and 2 brake lines), hoses, cables, and wiring from body. remove driveshaft, torque arm etc, unbolt tranny crossmemember, then just a few more bolts holding the K-member and youre done... easiest with a lift of course.

oh and dont forget to your shifter boot inside.

with a lift it can be done easily within 2 hrs start to sitting on ground/roll cart

your parting out that car right. Cut the front core support. Pull the engine forward and then up with it. You could even cut the cowl then pull it out.

even with no lift, you can unbolt everything and lift the car off the rest faily easy. even though you are parting everything out, whats the point in tearing it all up... someone might want something. i hate getting motors from junkyards that do that for that reason. took more time swapping things over and fixing things than the actual teardown or install.

The body is junk so he would not be tearing anything up.

I took me 4 hours to drop my engine and trans out of the bottom. That includes beer drinking and bullshitting, plus a hour lunch break.
