Depending on weather and what im wearing that day.
Sig P238 Ankle Holster.
Khar PM9 In the waist band holster.
Ruger 1911 Shoulder holster under my jacket.
In the car I usually put it in the center consol.
My wife on the other hand i got her a hammerless .38. Reason being a woman will usually keep it inside her purse and a hammerless .38 can shoot while inside of a purse without fear of a round not being able to eject causin a jam/without something getting stuck inbetween the hammer and the pin. this comes in handy if theirs a struggle and you're having issues getting the gun out of the purse.

haha^^ epic. I thought the civilian version 5.7 ammunition wasnt armor peircing and that we didnt have access to the military version of the ammo. Thats what I had read when I was planning on getting one. Thats also the reason I dont currently own one. If thats the case you wouldnt have to worry about over penetration.

If you want something FUN to shoot I would recommend it to anyone. It's got almost 0 recoil and it's dead nuts accurate for a pistol. I've had mine with a can on it for over a year at least, and it makes even more fun since its SUPER silent.

The standard round can penetrate most lower end body armory. The bullet is very tiny but the blue tip rounds shoot about 1900fps and the other civillian round shoots about 2300fps. While most other rounds stay under 1200fps on a general home defense round.

It does not cover you shooting someone else by mistake. Anything your rounds hit you will be responsible for.

What I carry depends on the day. XD40subcompact, P238, P239, or LCP. The only one I've had any stoppage on was the P238, and that was after a couple boxes of cheap ammo. They just don't like being real dirty. I either pocket carry or in a IWB holster. My fav hosters are the Crossbreed with horse hide. The kydex section let you reholster easily. I have a nice all leather iwb, but its a pain to reholster in comparison. A good belt goes a long way with carrying too. Not a carry belt, but I've been impressed with the amish work belts. They're very thick and much cheaper than a carry belt.
I'll suggest you and your wife go handle all the guns that interest you, then rent them. Choose the one that works reliably, fit your and her hands, you can both operate, and feel comfortable shooting. Let your wife make her own choice. She'll get more into it if it was her choice.

Glock 23, small enough to conceal but not to small to fit your hand on it. I just carry it in a Bianchi pancake holster on my hip and cover with shirt or jacket. I can't stand in the pants or paddle holsters!

Question... I know multiple SWAT teams from other countries use this pistol. Hell I love mine because it's fun to shoot and even more when it's suppressed! My thing is why that when you have blue tip rounds that literally go through one person into many others after? I carry my 1911 any day of the week I never thought of using the 5-7 for any kind of home or personal defense due to the possibility of injuring others.
