My wife's hobbies are cooking, cleaning, and making babies. Why? Cause that's what I tell her they are!!!

Someone's not getting enough attention at home...

 

Most women just want to look at cars but not work on them, that's pretty cool that you do. Mine doesn't like to turn wrenches but she will help me wash the cars or get ready to go to the track.

 

Sometimes it feels like that. But then again I sometimes 'feel' that I give a lot more than what I receive and deserve a lot more attention.
But I get my point across and also get enough attention on here to fill in any small voids that may exist.

 

That's good though. As long as you're doing it together.

My gf is ASE Certified, but doesnt really want to work on cars anymore. she does bring me drinks, food, and comes out to make sure im still alive. still gives me hand when i need one tho. its nice to have a tiny set of hands around she is also very supportive of my hobby, she like the whole car scene still. Lately We both have been working a ton of hours so the little free time we have we usually spend it with each other. I usually work on my cars in the middle of the night or when she works on my day off.

My wife helps me work on cars when I ask her to. She wants to learn more, so I teach her. We'll be building my '69 Camaro together, that will show her a start to finish restoration.

Mine has her own 00 z28 and will soon move to a tbss with a few mods.. Her last ta had full bolt ons small cam and converter. She likes it loud and fast! Lol

She helped do a lot on my last motor build and wants to learn as much as possible. Anything with hers Im just there to supervise and answer questions.. I usually work on mine while she does hers. Sometimes have to break a rusted bolt loose etc.
She loves to cruise/hang out in the garage/track/lsfest!! Doesn't mind me spending money on it and when the parts come in allows time to install them.

 

my wife doesn't even wash her own car, has never driven my Trans Am. All she does is work, gym and has her own friends. But hey, we get along and our kids are great. If you have a wife or partner that is truly your friend and shows an interest in what you are into, you are blessed!

 

I just love hearing about yawls relationships and how sometimes you tie the car in there somewhere. His or hers doesn't matter. It's all good. . My hubby is very supportive of anything and all i do. I will confess that I get a little demanding for attention and after almost 24 years of being together we sometimes take each other for granted.
'Someday' I'll teach him how to drive a stick so he can see why I get giddy every time i step on the gas.
