Cheaper to build. I found a blem upper for around $300 and a blem lower for $100.

I just bought my Aero upper for $89 stripped, CMT billet lower for $219, and a Quentin Defense billet lower for $180

if you want to be vigilant and save money you can do it, if you want to be lazy you can spend more. It took me a week of staying up on forums checking things to find these deals, and some times as soon as I found one, it was gone.

All I need now is a BCG, which I've found several in stock, just not the NiB carrier I want currently. This is a higher end build so to speak so I'm not rushing for the first milspec carrier.

americana arms has billet lowers for $169 and they are in Texas

a bit hard to deal with, hence why I didn't use them, but they had lowers in stock and cheap. Agreed with Larue...way too overpriced for their products. Sure they work, but my pieced together Palmetto State gun works too, just doesn't look as "cool".
