No bro, you need some 420hp/450tq and 2X mpg.

That thread found on the F150 forum has a ton of people posting who have had the "fix" and are still having issues. I am one of them.

Is that the new Denali or just the 2014 GMC? Very nice. I should've never traded in my Yukon Denali. It would be paid off and I wouldn't be worried about the 13.2 mpg it got.

This is the 2014 Denali.

I got spend a good deal of time in a '14 Silverado LTZ 4x4 CC, and man it's an awesome truck. All the little details make the difference. The new Gen 5 5.3's torque curve is noticeably stronger than the old Gen 4 5.3. Everyone needs to test drive one.

I just read that HP Tuners announced that their software can tune the new Gen 5 E92 ecu. It was rumored to be un-tunable. Now that tuning is possible, the flood gates have opened and these new engines are going to **** up **** on the street and track.

Some complaints allege unexpected sharp reductions in engine power during hard accelerations at highway speeds, such as attempted merging or passing maneuvers
Lack of power during hard acceleration? I thought this was common thing for all FORDS, not really a problem?

Does the Denali have anything special besides the badges that you can't equip on a Silverado? Used to be the all wheel drive and the 6.2 plus things like thicker glass and sound insulation. Then GM allowed the 6.2 as an option in the Silverado and it just looked like you we're paying a lot more for the badges.

An ecoboost F150 will walk away from the new Hemi as well

My hemi holds up period. Those eco boost don't even hold up. I went to ford to check one out and even the sells guy said I'm better off with the 5.0 so I'll stick to my hemi

My insider would be extremely happy to let any EcoBoost owner test drive one. I'll let you know.

Every manufacturer has had some sort of mishap with a vehicle at some point. I used to work at Enterprise Rent A Car and the Dodge products were ****. The trucks we had with the 360's in them were by far the worst followed by the Durango. Dodge has come a ways since then but my best friend had the heads warp on his 2008 Dodge pickup twice. Luckily he had an extended warranty.

Even running like **** it doesn't change the fact that my Ecoboost will still outrun a Hemi. And I'll do it with heavy *** 24's.

I hope you never have problems with your Hemi I think they are good looking trucks and I believe Dodge has the best bang for your buck going on right now. I looked at the Hemi Charger and Ram before going with the F150. I just liked the overall package I was getting with the F150 and the charger wasn't big enough for the family.

I would have a really tough time wanting to own another GM product, my Sierra never left me stranded but it had it's fair share of issues that caused many warranty claims. Haven't had any experience with Ford on warranty since I haven't had to warranty anything.

He might have gotten a lucky break on his, but my old mans 97 ram 1500 with the 360 has over 300k on the original motor and transmission without any major issues, he did have to get the rearend rebuilt around 200K though I believe. It ain't a speed demon but its a reliable truck, last time I drove it we had about 4500 lbs of hay on a lowboy and it handled it just fine. Now granted my 4.8 silverado with a few bolt ons would walk the **** away from it, but he doesn't give half a damn about speed, lol.
