Seeing as they've been racing on an airport taxiway with lights and generators all around, I highly doubt this is risky street racing where you have to worry about the cops.

Most of the guys/cars on the show are very well known for doing king of the street/true street no prep races and the like. I haven't watched but I know murder nova, farm truck and boostedgt all fit in the true racer category.

Is it an Oklahoma street racing technique to jerk the wheel like a fast and furious reject as you race? It does lower your contact patch between the tire and road surface, thus lowering rolling resistance. I'm surprised more people don't do it as it surely must make your car faster.

They say that in the intro too, keep saying they are the fastest street cars...pfft. Those are flat out drag cars making passes on the street. That by no means makes them street cars...ha. If anything this show puts a target on their backs to knock them off their high horse.

I agree. But if you listen closely and this is their argument. They are calling them street "raced " cars. Which is still whatever but there's video of them getting called out the opponent drives his car out there following them trailering the nova. The nova had to run him down and lost. Apparently next time they ran the same guy his car caught fire. IMO he's destined to get drug very soon
