i remember hangin out at rankin 15-16 yrs ago behind the warehouse was street cars and hidden lil circle was purpose built cars

Those cars have big tires, 25.5 cages, wings, wheelie bars, and chutes. Those are not street cars fellas, loaded on trailers to boot. They are taking drag cars and running them on public roads. Maybe we should challenge them

It's on discovery so Ill tell you the model for it. They will focus on 1 shop/team/club for a little bit and then there will be conflict between the two and someone will branch out and start their own shop/team/club and the. There will be a rivalry. Just like American Chopper,Devils Ride,Sons of guns,....... But it does look ok, it would be more realistic if it was based in TX where the real fast cars are but I guess OK has to have something.

Haven't watched Pinks in ages, but will probably watch an episode or two of this until I get bored with the manufactured BS and move on. Oh well...

There are some others too, but you won't see them till there is some serious bank on the table. But they too are like what others are talking about. Race cars being raced on the street. But in one respect your right that we haven't been doing that kind of racing on the streets in a loooonng time. The show will be good for a season at least.

I laugh at everybody that goes those arent street car!! Who said you have to have a street car to street race? Rather watch 7 to 8 second cars all day long on the street then 12 sec Camaros and 14 sec mustangs roll racing. I will watch the show and sure it will be dramatic but o well.
