Anyone know of any CNC Machinist positions open
Actively seeking a machining position in or around Houston. Company that I work for now has changed management and now they are basically screwing over employees like there's no tomorrow. Looking to get out now before things really get bad.
I have a resume available and have applied to several different shops in the area but I know there are a few CNC guys on here and figured it was worth a shot.
Cliff notes on my experience:
-6 years experience on both lathes and mills with fanuc controls
-currently running a twin turret/twin spindle Mori Lathe
-experience in plastics and metal
-ISO 9000 cert experience
-all my own tools
-working on a engineering degree as well
I know my way around this industry and have worked on components for aerospace companies, oil and gas, semi conductor and even petro-chem and power. I don't dick around and I'm not a half *** kind of guy, I take pride in my work and was raised to always bust *** no matter what.
If anyone knows of anything available or would be able to put me in touch with a shop manager/supervisor it would be greatly appreciated.
Garrett

cnc openings
Try Stewart Tubular Products, I have been there about 7 months, real relaxed atmosphere, was a supervisor for Tenaris(previously Hydril) had almost 13 years between those companies and Stewart was the best thing that could have happened to me, low stress, perfect job, for a student.

I work at Linershoes inc. on Beltway 8 and aldinewestfield. i started as a CNC machinist and worked my way inside to a sales coordinator. we work with companies like Baker-Hughes, Halliburton, Weatherford, ect...we are hiring right now for a position on a puma 400l fanuc controls EZ guide. extremely easy to run. i ran that machine for over a year. the guy that was on it quit yesterday. We make Reamer shoes and crossovers, nothing crazy. easy turn bore and thread.
