How about this. If your car came from the factory with A/C, it should still have it. If you removed it, you have a racecar now. Tough ****!

Then I have some of the slowest pump gas street driven race cars in the world. Lol

The AC went out in my Prius and I am too broke to fix it, guess its just gonna have to be a race car now. Lol

Didn't not have the funds to put a Bracket in my 94 gmc with a 4.8 swap to use the R4 compressor, guess its a race truck now...lol

The point is, I am stirring crap and its funny, everyone thinks their opinion is what matters most and screw eventing else's.

If it drives from point a to point B and does it on pump gas and has registration and insurance, everything else is null. Technically you put a set of slicks on a car and it is no longer legal so the legal term has to start out of a debts such as this. I do believe a car should have street trim, and not just a drive seat, lol.

Streetable is just a measure of how many creature comforts one is willing to sacrifice.

A street car is different is others eyes than it is yours. my car doesnt have a/c, heater or power steering. its an 86 junkstang eventually i plan on having all of that again but priorities come first. i have a daily driver with all of the comfort ammedities to include good gas mileage. i built my mustang to be fast and safe, if its uncomfortable to others who the **** cares. it passes state inspection, legit and runs on true pump gas 93 octane. but from what others are saying on here i have a RACECAR cause i do not have a/c (didnt get the car with any), heater (heater core leaks) or power steering (SBC in a mustang I need to get a pump and have custom lines made). motorcycles dont have any of those are they race bikes?

if it passes state inspection, runs on true pump gas (93 octane or lower) and you can actually drive it farther than 100 miles without stopping its a freaking street car.

Yea, after having the 89 with a manual steering box, the mustang has power steering. Lol, got old after 5 years.

I do like some friends calling my car a race car when I have power steering and power brakes and they do not. That's a laugh.

One retard talks about how he drives to and from work, lives in kingwood and works in kingwood....go figure.

That's like my old s10. It didn't have power anything and I drove it 30 miles to work everyday for a long time and went and ran high 9s in the 1/4. To me that was a street truck.

I'll be the first to admit that stripping the AC out to fit a 5" down pipe wasn't my first option, but without that size down pipe I would have really restricted the turbo back several hundred HP. I never took the car out when it was hot as hell outside anyways, mostly late evenings and night time cruising. I drive my Duramax most of the time so as long as it blows cold, and my car hauls *** I'm happy.

From what I've gathered, crapbox is a term that people with slow cars (but nice and expensive) use for cars that were built on a budget, and are faster than their "nice" cars that they own. That is my own unbiased opinion. Everyone approaches this thing from a different angle and there is no right or wrong way to do it, but some people have tighter budgets, nothing wrong with that.

If you cannot agree that a car that must have special fuel to operate beyond 93 pump is not a street car, then that's just your problem. That means you cannot fuel up anywhere on a road trip. E85 is not readily available at all pumps so that doesn't count. I know there is a few stations in the US that have race fuel at the pump if I remember right, but it isn't every station you stop at. E85 is over 100 octane rating.

There is no prep there...fresh concrete.

Maybe next time they do 3 or 4 burnouts all the way down the street, change the tires then race. Is that still prepping the street?
