New guy from ATX Hey everybody, I just recently relocated to Austin, TX from South Dakota and can't wait to bring my toys down here after winter. My '72 Chevelle is my pride and joy. Also wondering if there are any hang outs or good car shows to check out? Lastly I have been debating on starting a new build for the Chevelle, I have some question, and I am hoping you guys have the answers.

I left South Dakota and came here 15 years ago. Don't miss that state at all. If you are a normal South Dakotan your political views may not mesh with Austin, so I have heard. Enjoy the lack of winter but it may take a bit to get used to the summers.

Are you kidding? Austin has a great car scene. I'm not overly into older muscle but the Austin meets and car shows are really pretty good. Over 900 cars at the last Oasis Cars & Coffee.
