Hey guys, just wondering if there is anyone around my area (LaPorte) that likes to go on cruises, shows, etc. I'm looking for friendly, knowledgeable people to give advice on my car and just basic, good conversation. Mainly looking for F-Body guys. I've got a 99 WS6 that I'm looking to cruise in and do a lot of work too. Thanks

I don't think there are many groups in our part of Houston. Hell, it's hard enough to find a decent meet around here that's not full of high schoolers and their ricers. Everything seems to be a bit farther in Houston.

 

What part of Houston are you from?

I had to edit that because I just reread it and realized it looked like I was grammatically challenged. Its been a long weekend and I'm beat. But I get to look forward to BMR springs and Bilsteins coming in tomorrow.

 

There is enough of us in the SE side to make our own meet. Or even meet at the Saturday night Kemah meet and represent the LSX crowd.

I'm in Nashville this weekend but next weekend if the weather is good I'll be up there Saturday night.

 

Friday night car cruise is in Pearland at the Lowes (518/Pearland Pkwy). After that show is over, the younger crowd heads to another few spots to hang out and uh....negotitiate.

Sat night is the Kemah car show at Home Depot. Usually quite a bit of LS stuff there and usually a hand full of F Bodies.

I don't know of any F Body specific "clubs" in the SE.

I was in Kemah at the Home Depot meet earlier. Already headed to the house though.

 

What time does that start

 

It seems like people start rolling in around 5 or so. They come and go throughout the evening and its usually over with by 9. I haven't figured out why the really nice stuff leaves so early, I guess to avoid the ricers and idiots.

Would be cool to have a meet in Spring!
